Membership Fees
Our membership year starts 1st December each year. If joining during the Membership year the fee amount is reduced as shown in the table below. The Joint Membership fee is the total fee for 2 people residing at the same address. Associate Members must be paying a full subscription to another U3A.

We would prefer your membership fee to be paid by Bank Transfer to Burton Joyce and District U3A, Sort Code 77-22-10, Account Number 23542368 (Business Account). Please be sure to put your surname in the reference field. Alternatively, payment can be made By Cheque, payable to ‘Burton Joyce and District U3A’ and posted to Gemma Gill, Membership Secretary, 5, Shelford Crescent, Burton Joyce, Notts NG14 5GH or handed in at any of the monthly Speaker Meetings held on the afternoon of the 2nd Tuesday of the month in Burton Joyce Village Hall.
Terms and Conditions of Membership
All members must:
• Abide by the Principles of the U3A movement.
• Always act in the best interests of the U3A and never do anything to bring the U3A into disrepute.
• Abide by the terms and conditions of the constitution.
• Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times.
• Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee.
• Advise the committee of any change in your personal details.

• We will store your data securely.
• You have the right of access to your personal data and to require it to be corrected and/or erased.
• You have the right to object to the use of your personal data, to withdraw your consent to its use, and to complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Examples of how we will use your data are:-
• To communicate with you as a U3A member.
• To share with group leaders for those groups that you are a member of.
• For Group Leaders to contact you if you are or wish to become a member of their group.
• For signing in at the Monthly Meeting.
• To send you general information about the Third Age Trust (the national organisation to which U3As are affiliated).
