Mah-Jong is a game that originated in China, normally played by four players (but three can play) at a square table. It is a game of skill and strategy and involves a certain degree of chance. Although it can be a gambling game, we play purely for fun!
The game is played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols and is started by building the “Great wall of China’, discarding tiles and collecting sets until players complete a legal hand. By the end of the first session, you won’t know it all, but you will know how to play and to form a basic Mah-jong hand.
