This History group is studying British history in a chronological order from the Battle of Hastings in 1066 up to more modern history. So far the group has reached the accession of Queen Victoria in 1837.
Each member of the group researches and leads a topic for discussion. This is very much a self-taught group, all with a love of history but with widely varying existing knowledge.
The group tries to encourage any special interests of particular members and has studied historical subjects that may feature in the current media.
