We agree a topic for discussion at our previous meeting and identify the member of the group who will ‘introduce’ the topic.
Sometimes we find it helpful to use the particular knowledge of the person introducing the topic, but often we touch upon issues about which none of us may have expertise, but upon which we may have views and opinions e.g. the electoral system, the criminal justice system, inflation, holidays, addictions.
It all adds up to a lively 2 hours of debate.
