Book Club 2 was formed in October 2025 and meets monthly in the BJ Library, which seems appropriate. We aim to be a friendly appraisal and discussion group, definitely no pressure, generally aiming to read one pre-chosen book per month.
Books are chosen well in advance by the members and already reflect our wide preferences. Early reads have been Restless by William Boyd, The Bottle Factory Outing by Beryl Bainbridge and What a Carve Up by Jonathan Coe.
