Luncheon Group

“Ladies who lunch”, “Fellows who feed”, “Gents who gorge” – all sorts turn up and enjoy our monthly visits to local eating establishments.

Many preferences stretch from “lite bites” to “Chef’s Specials”. Some drink wine, some ale, and (seldom), water. As a group we have some regular favourite watering holes such as The Wheatsheaf in Burton Joyce and The Cross Keys in Epperstone. We don’t just eat and drink! Our topics of conversation range from rocket science to wedding outfits (or are they the same thing?). The fourth Tuesday in each month is a date not to be missed!
