Greenfingers is an amalgamation of two garden groups. The first began just after our U3A was founded in 2008 and some members have continued in the group since then. A long-standing group: members possess varying knowledge, sharing a common love for and interest in gardens and gardening. Knowledge is not a pre-requisite: just an interest. We learn from each other. We meet on the first Monday each month at each member’s homes and gardens and sometimes at The Wheatsheaf Pub in the village. We enjoy discussions horticultural, helping group members to resolve problems they encounter. We also enjoy seeing each others gardens at different times of the year. Members are encouraged to bring along to meetings plants in containers for the group to see and discuss, including problem plants. The group also enjoys visiting other private gardens We are a friendly welcoming group sharing knowledge and experiences with each other.
