Where We Meet

We do not have any premises of our own, but instead use local meeting facilities and specialist venues in Burton Joyce and the surrounding villages.

St Helen’s Church Centre

Church Road, Burton Joyce, NG14

The Church Centre is behind St Helen’s Church, and is not easily seen from Church Road.

There is only a small dedicated car park next to the Church Centre, intended for disabled use. Pedestrian and vehicle access is from Church Road. Wheelchair accessible.

If you are driving to any of our meetings, and park on the surrounding roads, please take care that you do not block access to other premises or make it very difficult to get vehicles in or out of those premises. You would not like it if a stranger parking in your road stopped you getting your car out.

There is no dedicated car park, please use the surrounding roads. Please do not use the Co-op car park. Wheelchair accessible.

We use the main hall, the backstage area, sometimes called the “Committee Room”, and the smaller rear hall.  There is only a very small dedicated car park intended for disabled use. Please park on the surrounding roads, or in the Wheatsheaf car park and display your U3A parking sticker. Wheelchair accessible.
