Your Preferred First Name is the name that you want to be known by and shown on your membership badge. Many people only have one first name but not everyone uses their full first name. For example, if your name is Phillip you may prefer to be called Phil. Likewise, if your first name is Elizabeth you may want to be known as Elizabeth and not Liz, or Lizzie. You may have several first names and don’t use your first “first name, like the late Colin Chapman who founded Lotus Cars - his full name was Anthony Colin Bruce Chapman, but he was always known as Colin Chapman.

Please complete the online membership application below. All fields must be completed unless they are specifically marked as optional. When you have completed the form, please click on the Submit button to send off your application to our Membership Secretary.


Following receipt of your application, our Membership Secretary will then contact you to arrange payment of your membership fee and to issue you with your Welcome pack.


We would ask you to be patient, as we are a voluntary charitable organisation and do not have the resources to respond as fast as a commercial entity. If you want to ”chase up” your application, please contact our Membership Secretary, whose contact details are in the Committee section of our Governance page.
